From 1987 until 2001 Prost held the record for most Grand Prix victories and is considered as one of the greatest F1 drivers ever, he got his nickname ‘The Professor’ for his intellectual and calculated approach to competition. The F1 seasons 1988 and 1989 will always be remembered by fans due to the fierce competition between him and his teammate Ayrton Senna, Senna won season 1988 and Prost 1989.
Prost drove for Mclaren, Renault, Ferrari, and Williams, he also had is own team in 1997 called Prost Grand Prix

This is a very nice helmet and a great collectible from the winner of 51 Formula One wins and the 4-time (1985, 1986, 1989 and 1993) Formula One World Champion.
As you can see this helmet has no chin strap to slose it like normal helemets, it closes with the two half round clamps on the bottom of the helmet. It has a lock mechanism with the two red buttons to open and close it safely. This fantastic and special helmet will look perfect in any motorsport or F1 collection, man cave, home, or office.
