Description from the seller

This is a medium-large format Polaroid photograph attributed to David Seidner, the great American photographer who made instant Polaroid photography one of his signature specialties, almost always using medium and large format Polaroid, as in this photograph, format 27.5 x 21.4 cm (including the white border).
In this image we see a young girl, almost certainly a model, with a strange and curious hairstyle, typical of “Tribal Couture,” which was very fashionable in those years, probably taken on a beach, perhaps with the sea in the background, a beautiful photograph, dated 1987 and very well preserved, lovely and wholesome.
David Seidner, who died very young in 1999 at just over forty, was one of the most accomplished American photographers of the second half of the 20th century, specializing in portraits and fashion photography, an artist who also sought, with his own personal research works, to reach a point where photography itself is united with the history of art, a path that is well known to enthusiasts and “his” collectors.
