Nove Bassano - Serving plate - Ceramic - NOS Ceramic

Splendid and imposing oval serving platter in fine white earthenware (majolica), crafted in Italy (Nove/Bassano del Grappa district) between the late 1960s and 1970s.
Details & Style: The rim features an elegant basketweave pattern, embellished with rich three-dimensional fruit festoons in high relief (grapes, bananas, figs, and pineapple). The fruits were individually modeled and hand-applied in the raw stage (barbotine technique) and beautifully shaded with a brush.
Marks: Stamped on the back into the clay with "MADE IN ITALY" and the mold/model number "1477". It includes the original factory groove for wall hanging.
Dimensions & Weight: 48 x 36 cm. Weight: 2,400 grams. A solid, heavy, and finely crafted piece.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The platter is completely intact: no chips, cracks, hairline fractures, or restorations, even on the protruding and delicate parts of the fruit. Bright, glossy glaze and vivid colors.
