Description from the seller

Description of the Work

Work by Sandra Fontenas, French visual artist, born in 1973 in La Rochelle.
Title: Anatomy of a Blue
Year of creation: 2024
Year of printing: 2026

Process & technique:
Professional photo lab printing, print on Fujicolor Crystal Archive Suprême Lustré silver-gathered paper 220 g/m².
The work was digitally created with the aid of generative artificial intelligence software, by drafting precise textual descriptions (prompts). Each composition results from an iterative process: formulation, generation, selection and refinement, until obtaining the desired result.

Edition: 1/10 — limited to 10 copies.

Each print is hand-signed by the artist and numbered on the back, ensuring the authenticity and traceability of the work within the limited edition.

Provenance: Direct sale by the artist. Sandra is also represented by WeAreNewComers (Paris) and Desyre.ai (Dubai & Germany), and exhibits permanently at Galerie ADOR Experience (Île de Ré, France).
Documentation: Certificate of authenticity included, available in paper form or by email.

Condition: Excellent condition.

Framing: Unframed — ready to frame. The artist recommends a presentation with a wide, or even extra-wide, mat, which gives the image additional depth and breathing space. This suggestion remains, of course, optional — the work fits all presentation choices.

Format: 40 × 30 cm.

Shipping: Professional packaging with non-pilling cotton gloves — worldwide shipping.

About the artist

Sandra Fontenas is a French visual artist whose practice sits at the boundary between the real and the imaginary. Trained in interior design, she developed from her early years a keen sense of composition and atmosphere, before turning to photography, the medium through which her need to create was born.

Today, she explores generative AI as a plastic material in its own right — guiding, shaping and forging artificial intelligence to extract images that exist nowhere else but in her imagination. She defines herself as an IA-grapher: a photographer of the mind, who captures not the present moment, but the dreamed moment.

Her universe, deeply inspired by surrealism, summons light, texture and emotion to give body to a dreamy and sensual aesthetic. The feminine, the intimate, the body and identity are at the heart of her compositions, treated with subtle poetry that erases the boundaries between softness and power, reality and metamorphosis.

Each work is offered in a limited edition, signed and numbered — an invitation to acquire a unique image born from a dialogue between the artist and the machine, where human gesture remains, always, first.

Her works are exhibited in the ADOR Experience galleries in La Rochelle and Île de Ré, and are available internationally on Catawiki.
