​An excellent collector's piece, this antique Swiss mechanical pocket watch features a highly recognizable pin-lever movement built on the famous system developed by Georges Frederic Roskopf. This specific piece is branded under the "Progrès D.F." mark, featuring an incredibly striking and rare dark blue/purple "cartouche" style dial configuration.

​Style: Deep blue/purple enamel base featuring 12 white oval "cartouches" housing bold, stylized pinkish-red Arabic numerals.
​Details: Inner minute track decorated with silver geometric diamond accents. The center features the distinct circular stamped logo for "Progrès D.F."
​Hands: Ornate, heavily decorated Louis XVI-style gilt hands adding excellent antique character.

​Material: Pure Nickel case (NICKEL PUR / SWISS MADE stamped on the inner caseback,
​Outer Caseback: Cleanly engraved with the classic circular "GRE. ROSKOPF PATENT" hallmark surrounding the "1A" grade stamp and a star icon
​Serial / Watchmaker Marks: Hand-scratched service logs and the serial 137769 are visible on the inner back cover

​Markings: Beautifully stamped on the main bridge with "SWISS MADE BREVET + 90517" (Swiss Patent 90517). It also features the circular "F. E. ROSKOPF PATENT" trade stamp near the balance assembly.
