The piece is an authentic antique of the Historicist period. Hand-painted and adorned with multi-layer gold ornaments. On the bottom of the porcelain canister there is the model number 4707, and since the digits are blind-stamped (deep-pressed), this strongly points to a German or Austrian manufacturer from the period between 1880 and 1910.

Am Boden der Porzellandose befindet sich die Formnummer 4707, da die Ziffern blind gestempelt (tiefgeprägt) sind, spricht dies stark für eine deutsche oder österreichische Manufaktur aus der Zeit zwischen 1880 und 1910.
