Bible, that is the entire Holy Scriptures, containing all the canonical books of the Old and New Testaments - Amsterdam, wed. Pau;us van Ravesteyn, 1661 - (40) 332 (=333, 320 double) leaves (=666 pp), (4) 114 leaves (= 288 pp), (4) 170 leaves (=340 pp) (20) , (2) 56 leaves (=112pp) - later leather binding with wooden boards, brass corner pieces and clasps - 38 x 23 x 10.5 cm

Fair. Scratches and some loss of leather in the middle of the front board and a few spots (superficial loss) on the back board. Pincushions torn at the bottom about 4 cm. Inner hinges partially open - book block fixed in the binding. Later endpapers and pastedowns. Cover boards creased, blue imprint from the cover boards on the pastedown front and back (no adhering). Engraved title page edges frayed, loss of corners and restorations on the verso, inner margin tightly glued to the pastedown. Loss of the upper corner of the first 15 pages (top edge of some slightly frayed), some loss of paper at the inner margin on most pages from the beginning to folio 10. Pages 35 to 40 detach at the top. Worm-eaten/wormholes/creases at the top inside margin of pages 102 to 128 - inner margins of some pages glued to each other.
Edges of pages 244 and 245 frayed, inner margins glued together. Brown spots at the bottom inner margins of pages 246 to 251, some with holes in the brown spots
Tear at the top inner margin of page 113, about 6 cm. Some quires somewhat loose at top and bottom.
Internal pages discolored, here and there a stain, ink spots on page 16 and 17 of the Old Testament, moisture spots along the side margins into the text registers, moisture spots in the lower and/or upper margins on most pages, from the last leaves of the Old Testament and some leaves of the Apocrypha bleeding into the text as well as moisture spots in the side margins of about 20 leaves. Black spots in the inner margin of about 40 pages - mainly in the Old Testament.
Page 36 of the apocrypha books numbered incorrectly as 37, pages 50 and 56 loose, page 49 comes loose; inner margin page 50, bottom inner margin page 51, top margin pages 53, 54 and 55, margins page 56 damaged. Planing mark 1x2 cm at the bottom in text page 8 and 9. Missing corner of 10 leaves. Cracking 0.5 to 2 cm, in the margins of about 30 leaves, a bite out of the margins of about 10 leaves. Some worm-eaten areas. Wormhole(s), streaks at the top and/or bottom inner margins of a large number of pages. Inner margins of about 30 leaves tightly bound to each other.
