Renata Giannelli presents the contemporary, sustainable design sculpture titled ALA, a self-supporting work (50 cm wide by 130 cm high by 15 cm deep) in beige, gold and white, made from iron wire, gold leaf, hemp fiber paper pulp and plaster with 120 LED points, signed by hand, in excellent condition, dated 2026, weighing 4 kg, USB-powered lighting, shipped directly from the artist with a certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
A luminous sculpture created through an intertwined tangle of iron wire, pierced by 120 LED light points that animate its internal structure. On the metal weave, hemp fiber paper pulp was cast, which, during the drying and oxidation process, generated an irregular and vibrating surface, rich in material stratifications and transparencies.
The light, filtering through the solids and voids, builds a mutable pattern of shadows and reflections, transforming the sculpture into a living and atmospheric presence.
The project arises from the meeting of two apparently antithetical elements: iron — cold, rigid and structural — and paper — soft, warm and fragile. From their fusion emerges a new expressive material, organic and metamorphic, in which the hardness of metal is progressively softened by the presence of the fiber, while the paper gains strength and plastic tension.
The structure is self-supporting. The LED illumination is powered via USB output, allowing versatile placement in both domestic and exhibition spaces. It is shipped in rigid packaging and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
