Renata Giannelli presents 'Veste per bambola', a self-supporting sculpture combining iron wire, hemp fibre paper pulp and gold leaf with 120 LED points and plaster, measuring 35×40×30 cm, created in 2026, in excellent condition, hand-signed, sold directly by the artist, with USB-powered LED lighting and an authenticity certificate.
Description from the seller
Luminous sculpture made through an interweaving of tangled iron wire, pierced by 120 LED light points that animate its inner structure. On the metal mesh, hemp fiber paper pulp was cast, which, during the drying and oxidation process, generated an irregular and vibrating surface, rich in material stratifications and transparencies.
The light, filtering between solids and voids, builds a mutable pattern of shadows and reflections, transforming the sculpture into a living, atmospheric presence.
The project arises from the meeting of two seemingly antithetical elements: iron — cold, rigid, and structural — and paper — soft, warm, and fragile. From their fusion a new expressive material takes shape, organic and metamorphic, in which the hardness of the metal is progressively softened by the presence of the fiber, while the paper acquires strength and plastic tension.
The structure is self-supporting. The LED lighting is powered via USB output, allowing versatile placement in both domestic and exhibition settings. It is shipped in rigid packaging and comes with an authenticity certificate.
