MiLo’s Quiet Structures is an original 2026 acrylic painting in abstract style, measuring 80 cm by 65 cm, hand-signed and shipped directly from the artist, with excellent condition and a certificate of authenticity, canvas sold unstretched and suitable for mounting or stretching by a local framer.
Description from the seller
MiLo – “Quiet Structures”
A layered abstract composition built from intersecting lines, softened rectangles, and weathered textures. Loose black gestures move across pale grey and off-white surfaces, while traces of earlier marks remain visible beneath the paint, creating a sense of erosion, memory, and reconstruction.
The work suggests architectural fragments, faded maps, or partially erased systems without settling into a fixed interpretation. Its restrained palette and open structure create a calm yet dynamic presence. The painting can be hung in any orientation, allowing the composition to shift with its presentation.
The painting will be carefully rolled and shipped in a sturdy tube or box. A signed certificate of authenticity is included. The canvas is sold unstretched and can be mounted or stretched easily by a local framer.
About the Artist
MiLo (1976) is an Amsterdam-based contemporary artist known for his expressive and layered abstract works. With a background in photography and visual media, his practice evolved into a distinctive painterly language that balances spontaneity, structure, and materiality.
His works often explore erosion, rhythm, architecture, urban textures, and abstraction, combining raw gesture with refined composition. Over the years, his paintings have found their way into private collections, offices, hotels, and restaurants across Europe, the United States, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
