According to Artprice, Bruno Cantais’s market value in 2021 is around 600-2000 euros for his paintings and prints-multiples, making him a relatively affordable artist for art collectors.
A compulsive and spontaneous creator, Bruno Cantais lives in Lyon; he explores several techniques, ranging from abstract expressionism à la Rauchenberg or De Kooning, to matter projections à la Georges Mathieu, to Pop Art collage or to the expressionism of Karel Appel, straddling the borders between abstract gesture and figurative representation. But his signature always remains this physical painting, this material worked by the body, a testimony to the artist’s intimate monologue. An artist represented at the gallery Les Couleurs de l'Éternité in France, Gallery Modern Dutchart in the Netherlands. Catalogue raisonné by Artprice, Drouot and Akoun since 2005. Maeght Studio in 2005. Recently participated in the Art3f fair in Lyon. Recent exhibitions in Chisinau (Moldova), Cannes, Pézenas and Lyon at the Abbaye de Paul Bocuse gala evening 2023. Paris private collection gallery on Île Saint Louis since 2016. Has exhibited in international galleries in Belgium, USA, Italy and Portugal since 2019.
