Description from the seller

A typical Macallan nose character at first;

then the old Sherry cask offers also a quite 'maritime' side.

Sweet pickled peaches, raisins, cherries, a lot of oranges arise,

lemon juice all the time, pickled apples from time to time, some vanilla;

then a few other spirits like Feuerzangenbowle, Kirschwasser -

and also Franzbranntwein;

some pepper and peat in the background.

Second nose adds:

chocolate with citrus and cherry jelly, raisins, some slt water, caramell, old cigar, fruit sweetness with a shot of vinegar, spiciness, play of chocolate with leather, sweetened black tea (East Frisians), bouillon cube, clear motor oil.
Taste
Cherries & plums, Sherry, Cognac, lemon, clearly leather, dark chocolate, burnt sugar, cherry jam with seaweed and salt water!

Tartness & sweetness & soury tastes in harmony, forest floor, fresh & rudden wood, plum brandy, cough drops, sage tea, licorice, cocoa cake, and a hint of peat.
