Eugenio Cerrato was born in Gravellona Toce in 1947, completed classical studies, began to devote himself to art, and from the early 1980s he participated in exhibitions. In the 1990s he held numerous solo shows. In 1998 he opened in Oleggio “Eugenesi,” an independent artistic space that remains active and vibrant, and serves as a permanent exhibition space for his works. His works can be found in London, Berlin, Romania, Bulgaria and Monte Carlo, as well as in many Italian galleries.
