Imposing glazed ceramic jug, made by Jean de Lespinasse (1896-1979), in the 1960s.
This famous French ceramicist created Socfra with his wife in the 1940s.
He crossed paths with Roger Capron, Robert Picault, and Georges Tardieu, from whom he drew inspiration for his creations.
His workshops were located in the south of France (Nice, Sainte Maxime, Saint-Paul-de-Vence, and Vallauris).
After his death, all of his production ceased.
His creations are stamped JDL, and a number corresponds to the catalogue number in which the object in question appeared.
Dimensions: 28 x 12 (diameter at the neck) x 17 cm (diameter at the middle of the jug).
