Le Yack (1972) - Laundromat - Hand signed

An American laundromat — white neon, washing machines in rows, white tiles, a red table. In the middle of this functional, banal space, a woman in a black latex unitard and black high heels leans forward, hair cascading to the floor, in a posture of absolutely misplaced grace — or perfectly at home, depending on your view.
Le Yack continues his exploration of ordinary places inhabited by extraordinary presences. The laundromat is the anti-gallery — and it is precisely there that he chooses to place his most sculpted, most unreal figure. The contrast between the harsh neon light and the silhouette’s black elegance says all that Le Yack has to say about beauty: it does not ask for permission.

Le Yack, emerging French pop and street art artist. Alexandre Pelletier, known as Le Yack, was born in 1972 in Tours. During his studies, he joined the École Supérieure d'Art et de Design (ESAD) in Orléans. Former art director in publishing and on the web. Instagram @leyack45. He is exhibited in a network of about forty galleries in France, Germany, Belgium, United States.
