Dimensions: 60x45 cm
Year: 2023
Skedro is a contemporary artist whose research focuses on representing identity as a continually transforming process. Through fragmented faces, layered chromatic structures, and gestural and tactile painting, his works evoke totemic figures suspended between abstraction and presence. The human face becomes a territory to be rebuilt, where sign, color, and matter intertwine to reveal the tension between interiority and appearance. His work reflects on the unstable nature of the self, suggesting that identity is never definitive, but always in becoming.
