Mid-century modern brass lamp from Spain, dated 1960–1970, with a brass body and composite construction, in good used condition with minor signs of wear; measures 28 cm deep, 25 cm wide and 77 cm high, and is in working order.
Description from the seller
It is a lamp that blends classicism with design from the second half of the 20th century, one of those hybrid pieces that preserves the sculptural presence of the traditional candelabrum but reinterpreted with a cleaner, more modern language.
The lower body, conceived as a classic candelabrum, provides visual weight and an almost architectural air: bold lines, a square base with mouldings, and that solid volume that recalls the old desktop stands. In it you can notice some dent or sign of use, typical of a piece with decades of life, which far from detracting, add authenticity and character.
Above that base rises a mast of gilded brass, vertical, elegant, with that warm shine so typical of metal worked in the 60s–80s. The brass here does not seek ostentation, but presence: a luminous column that sustains the composition and dialogues with the classicism of the base without losing its modern air.
The original tulip, trapezoidal and in cream tone, completes the scene with a soft, domestic light. Its shape, more geometric than ornamental, anchors the lamp in mid- to late-20th-century design, when lampshades were streamlined to better integrate into contemporary interiors.
The result is a piece that combines tradition and modernity, designed to bring warmth, elegance, and a touch of history to any environment.
Certified shipping and good packaging.
