Tray - Silver

Elegant and refined solid silver round serving tray, 800 fineness, of splendid Italian artisanal workmanship, attributable to the historic Alessandria firm Cesa 1882.
The tray features a tall vertical edge completely pierced in a "ringhierina" (gallery style) with classic geometric motifs and finished with a delicate beading pattern on the upper and lower profiles. Very striking are the two side handles, richly worked in casting with volute motifs and figurative details (zoömorphic heads/swans).
The bottom is smooth and mirror-polished, regularly stamped with the silver fineness "800" and the hallmark of the refiners. A piece of great class, ideal as a centerpiece, luxury catch-all, or for serving liqueurs and coffee.
Conditions: Very good. The silver retains a beautiful luster. It shows only minor and normal superficial micro-scratches from use and polishing, which do not compromise its beauty (see close-up photos). No significant dents or restorations.
