Year: 2026
Technique: Oil on canvas
Dimensions of the painted area: 60 × 50 cm
The canvas includes an additional white margin of about 5 cm per side, not included in the indicated measurements, intended to facilitate framing or mounting if needed.
The painting depicts a contemporary female portrait, in which the expressive intensity of the face combines with a free and tactile painterly gesture. The figure, captured in a moment of abandonment and introspection, emerges from a dark background punctuated by drips and gold accents that amplify the sense of depth and dynamism.
The warm skin tones, in contrast to the deep blacks and luminous brushstrokes, create a strong visual impact, while the golden reflections introduce a vibrant and almost emotional light. The balance between realism and abstraction recalls a modern painting language, capable of evoking sensuality, elegance, and inner strength.
In person, the richness of the chromatic stratifications and the tactile surface of the oil can be appreciated more intensely, elements that in photography are only partially perceptible.
Italian artist born in 1975 in Favignana, she has gradually developed a personal painting path, nourished by travel experiences and direct exposure to cultures and landscapes from around the world. This international dimension has profoundly influenced her artistic vision, enriching her research with visual suggestions and expressive sensibilities.

Over the years she has defined a recognizable style, characterized by evocative figuration that fuses memory, perception, and imagination. Her works dialogue with art history while maintaining a current and personal perspective.
Her creations are part of private collections in various parts of the world, including Northern Europe, the Middle East, and Oceania, attracting interest from collectors and enthusiasts.
