Splendid KKT MC 5 produced in October 1974.
Total cosmetic restoration
Frame sandblasted and repainted in KTM grey RAL color
Tank repainted in KTM RAL color
Side panels repainted in KTM RAL red+green color
Rare new fenders in vintage plastic
Rare side panels in vintage plastic
The following parts are new:
Tank strap
Decals
Complete exhaust
Air filter
Seat cover
Magura lever guard
Magura grips
Plastic number plate
Hardware, partly zinc-plated, new. everything that was well-preserved has been left as found
New zinc-plated footpegs
Engine:
New Helko piston to be honed
The piston rod, bearings and crankshaft are in excellent condition.
The engine is equipped with a convenient decompressor. a cable and lever must be mounted if you are interested in using it.
The engine nevertheless starts easily with a few kicks after using the manual choke on the Bing carburetor.
Bing carburetor cleaned and rebuilt
The KTM is characterized by good power delivery and smooth torque, not abrupt. It is dimensionally similar to a 50cc cross bike, therefore maneuverable and easy to ride.
