About Ponny (Bologna 2009) is an Italian street artist whose identity remains not entirely clear.
Linked to the concept of graffiti as free expression, autonomous and independent, he has painted in many European cities and in recent years especially in Rome.
As he states: “I am tormented by urban surfaces and by the frames that the city can offer me; I am in constant search of dialogue with them.”
He uses stencils and spray as preferred expressive tools.
He paints faces, ordinary people, gazes and expressions.
