JuKa (born 1985), an emerging artist who discovered her passion for art as a young adult, is driven by the freedom of creativity and the constant exploration of different materials and techniques.
In her creations, she often combines traditional and experimental approaches, resulting in a unique and easily recognizable visual world. A recurring element in her works is the expression of emotions and inner experiences, which appear sometimes subtly, sometimes with great intensity through the interplay of forms and colors.
For JuKa, creating is not merely a form of self-expression, but also an ongoing dialogue with the world. She draws inspiration from the small details of everyday life, the changes in nature, and the diversity of human relationships. Her works invite the viewer to pause for a moment and connect with what they see through their own feelings and thoughts.
As an emerging artist, her goal is to reach an increasingly wider audience while continuously developing her own style and means of expression. She believes that art creates a bridge between people and has the power to open new perspectives in understanding the world.
Soft Power
The painting portrays the timeless strength of the modern female character through a minimalist, retro-futuristic visual language. Clean forms, muted tones, and softly orange-tinted lenses create a balance between distant elegance and intimate presence. Although the gaze remains partially concealed, it quietly dominates the composition, while the atmosphere of the piece radiates calm confidence and refined restraint.
Positioned between contemporary iconography and pop-art aesthetics, the figure becomes more than a portrait — she emerges as both character and symbol. The subtle sense of luxury and cinematic futurism creates a visual space where softness is not the opposite of power, but its most sophisticated expression.
