Very large Val Saint Lambert centerpiece, unsigned, probably 1930s.
Impressive large-scale Val Saint Lambert double-layer crystal centerpiece with deep ruby red overlay. Grand circular flared plate richly hand-cut with complex geometric patterns (diamonds, stars and brilliant facets) creating exceptional light play. The contrast between the intense red and clear crystal is particularly spectacular. Worked base and stable foot. Very heavy and uncommon piece, perfect for a dining table or as a major decorative element.
Good condition with some normal signs of use and a manufacturing defect visible in the photos. Weight: 6 kg. Dimensions: height 8 cm, diameter 39 cm. Unsigned.
