A beautifully preserved complete 18-piece cased set of mid-Victorian silver-plated Apostle spoons, manufactured by English silversmiths Elkington & Co. Dating precisely to 1863, each spoon is crisply stamped on the reverse of the bowl with Elkington's early maker’s marks, quality control stamps, and the date letter "Y" housed cleanly inside a diamond shield. Every spoon features a finely cast, detailed full-standing Apostle figure on a stepped pedestal, flowing down into an elegant, tightly twisted stem and a smooth fig-shaped bowl.

Spoons: Excellent antique condition. The silver plating is bright, clean, and complete, showing no signs of bleeding to the base metal, heavy scuffs, or plate loss.
Presentation Case: The original fitted case is in excellent condition. The exterior shows only minimal, age-appropriate storage wear. The deep plum/pink silk and velvet lining remains remarkably vibrant, clean, and structurally sound, safely housing each individual spoon. spoon size 14 cm, total weight 1020 g
