The cast bars have a classic square cast-bar design. Cast gold bars have the advantage over struck bars that their surface is less susceptible to scratches. A gold bar produced by the casting process can be safely held in the hand to weigh the high specific weight of 99.99% pure gold, without having to fear damaging the bar or having it affected by fingerprints. Cast bars naturally have rounded edges and small solidification lines due to the manufacturing process. This makes every Au bar a unique piece.
