Description from the seller
Vintage leather bottle set (2-piece) – Decanter "Made in Italy" 60s/70s
2x old leather bottle carafes / bar decor – Italian vintage mid-century
Pair of decorative glass bottles with leather covering – Italian retro 70s
1 Bottle 1 (Ship lantern style): Extraordinary design in the shape of an old carriage or ship lamp. Adorned with an X-shaped leather grid over the glass and a large, movable metal ring as a carrying handle.
2 Bottle 2 (Classic motif): Elegant, angular form with a beautiful, detailed blind embossing in leather. It features a classic-antique motif (Roman/Greek figure). Also the round stopper is fully covered with patterned leather.
Condition:
For their age (about 50-60 years) both bottles are in very good and well-kept vintage condition. The leather is solid, not brittle, and has a great, authentic patina. The bottles have presumably only stood as pure decoration in the display cabinet. (Details see photos).
