Large eighteenth-century volume in contemporary full leather binding. Spine with raised bands, gold tooling and a title panel. Text printed in Greek and Latin, with wide margins, philological notes and critical apparatus. Ornamented headpieces engraved on some pages with antique illustrations, including classical figures, coins and medals. Complete number of illustrations to be confirmed.
Conditions: Overall good antique condition.
Contemporary leather binding with wear, abrasions, darkening, edge flaws, worn corners and spine ends. Hinge and joints showing age, but the volume appears solid overall from the images.
Interior generally fresh and well-preserved for its age, with occasional foxing, light stains, browning and signs of use. Some leaves show creases or small marginal defects.
