Valeria Pesce presents SINFONIA MARINA, an original round oil and acrylic painting (25 cm diameter, 0.5 kg) depicting marine life with multicoloured fish and sea creatures, signed by hand, dated 2024, originating from Spain and sold directly by the artist.
Description from the seller
MARINE SYMPHONY
Marine landscape with squids, stingrays and other fish floating in a dense, crowded aquatic space. Original work ready to hang.
The fish I paint drift lightly with their sinuous and elegant movements in a gravity-free liquid sky. The fish, as a universal archetypal element, as a link between diverse worlds, as an expression of the flow of life and of emotions. Fast and fleeting like clouds and thoughts, they embody the delicate balance between serenity and vital impulse.
The water that contains them, an amniotic space in constant motion.
I am interested in the boundary between the real world and the surreal world of my constantly transforming aquatic landscapes.

ABOUT ME
Born in Italy, on the island of Sardinia, in 1963, after stays in New York to study graphic design and then in Milan, I moved to Barcelona in 1991 to work as a graphic designer and here I began my artistic career which over time has become my profession, my passion and above all a vital necessity.
I have held solo and group exhibitions in several European cities and my works are in various private collections worldwide.
My work is deeply rooted in nature and human emotions; my standout theme is water and fish, two visual universes that share a symbolic intensity. The fascination with the fluidity and dynamism of water acts as a through line of my creations and symbolizes constant transformation.
