a fine Victorian clock-shaped glass decanter, a type also known as a "Newcastle" or "claw-shaped" decanter due to its distinctive vertical ribs and the wide, clock-shaped base.

These decanters were often made in England around the mid-19th century (circa 1850).

It is recognizable by the heavy, flaring ribs ("pillar moulding") and has a matching glass stopper.

Style: Victorian / William IV. Shape: Clock-shaped with vertical ribs.

Origin: Often attributed to English glassworks from the Newcastle region.

Material: Clear glass or crystal with a large stopper of about 12 cm.

The decanter is in excellent condition as you can see in the photos.

Carefully packaged and insured for shipping.

Dimensions and weight may vary slightly, approx: 32 cm H x 11 cm W x 11.5 cm D; weight 873 g.
