Antique Vesta turtle-shell inkwell in English Victorian silver made in England in 1882.
The inkwell lid is made of lucite or similar material that imitates a turtle shell.
It bears several hallmarks for silver on every part. See the photographs of the hallmarks.
The date hallmark is the letter G and the designer's mark is T.J. (T. Johnson).
Please take some time to study the photographs as they are part of the description.
The item is intact in every part with slight signs of wear.
I purchased it a few decades ago in an antique shop in Italy.
Weight: 82 g
Shipping will be via courier with a tracking number.
Purchasers outside the EU should take into account VAT and customs duties to be paid.
