Vincenzo Raimondo presents Passages...#3, a multicoloured acrylic painting on canvas, original, 70 by 33 cm, created in 2026, hand-signed, in good condition, from Italy, sold directly by the artist as part of the Viaggio series.
Description from the seller
3 Quadro dimensione 33x70 cm
This new triptych from the series “Viaggi / Passages” tells of an inner journey more than a simple urban crossing. The buildings surrounding the figures are not merely architectures, but symbols of everything we encounter inside and outside of ourselves: fears, memories, joys, melancholy, obstacles and small conquests.
The journey seems to begin with the full light of the sun, to pass through the suspended warmth of sunset and to end in the quiet of the moon. But it is not a bitter end: in the last panel the figure opens its arms, as if to welcome what remains after the journey. Even when night arrives, something continues to shine.
The triptych thus speaks of resilience, transformation and relief. A long journey, perhaps difficult, but capable of always leaving something good behind: a awareness, a release, a small light that stays on even when everything seems to have gone out.
****
“Passages” / “Voyage”
The Viaggio series arises from the idea of inner movement more than physical displacement.
Each triptych represents a crossing: between silences, waits, distances and possibilities. The figures, deliberately anonymous and reduced to simple silhouettes, become universal symbols in which the observer can recognize themselves.
Cliffs, sea, stairs, architectures, trees and cities are not represented as real places, but as emotional spaces. The geometric elements and the large empty surfaces amplify the sense of contemplation, while the presence of gold introduces a suspended, almost spiritual light, guiding the narrative path of each composition.
Choosing a minimalist language eliminates the superfluous and leaves room for atmosphere: each work lives on balance, silence and visual tension. The triptychs function as small silent stories, connected to one another by continuity of light, perspectives and recurring symbols.
Viaggio is a reflection on the human journey: doubt, crossing, solitude, search and the need to go beyond. An essential and contemporary series, capable of uniting visual elegance and inner emotion without the need for forced explanations.
***Disclaimer***
Each work arises from the encounter between artistic expression and artisanal craftsmanship.
The painting represents the main creative element, while the support (canvas and materials) is an integral part of a careful and conscious production process.
The canvases used are selected with particular attention to quality and, where possible, environmental sustainability, favoring recycled materials or low-impact options. In some cases, the supports may be handcrafted or finished, even through the reuse of materials.
Any slight imperfections of the support are not to be seen as defects but as testimony to the manual process and the artisanal nature of the product. Such characteristics do not in any way compromise the artistic value and integrity of the work, but rather strengthen its uniqueness.
Each painting is therefore to be understood as a unique piece, the result of a process that blends creativity, manual work and responsible attention to materials.
