Abstract mixed-media acrylic work by Natalie Ulmann titled 'Cherry RAW', created in 2026, on canvas with a rolled format 113 cm x 133 cm x 4 cm, signed on the back, in excellent condition, sold directly by the artist.
Description from the seller
A reduced, multi-layered work in deep Bordeaux red, created through a conscious condensation of existing pigment layers. The surface is marked by gestural interventions: scratch marks, fine lines, and partially exposed underlying color layers. Subtle nuances of cool blue as well as delicate, warm apricot tones emerge in places, creating a calm yet tense depth. Individual lines have been accented with blue chalk and traverse the surface in a restrained motion. The center does not emphasize gesture but materiality—a dense, matte field that absorbs light and reveals the traces of its making. The work moves between control and dissolution, between surface and memory.
