Description from the seller
IMPORTANT MESSAGE: I ship only to selected destinations - Please read the shipping prices carefully.
"Paths"
The collection "Paths" represents the idea that life is not a straight line but a set of roads, forks, detours. Everyone starts from a different point, walks at different speeds, stumbles, goes back, changes direction. There isn’t a single “right” way to get somewhere.
Each single creation is a unique piece handmade with delicacy and feeling. The sculpture was shaped in clay and fired in a professional kiln, then patinated cold. In the porosity and imperfections of the terracotta and the pigments used lies the beauty of this material.
Shipping will be carried out with care. All works are hand-signed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Techniques:
Sculpture: Patinated Terracotta
Sphere: Brass
Nicole Furlan, born in 1991, attended an art and photography academy. Always seeking inspiration to grow.
Raised in the Tuscan countryside, she discovers in small things the charm of simplicity and reworks it through matter, thus enabling an open dialogue with her subconscious.
For several years she has had the opportunity to create a connection between sculpture (soul) and human in her Atelier/Laboratory in Pitigliano, a small town of Etruscan origins.
A new, delicate formula of deep connections.
In 2020 she decided to return to living in open countryside, so as to focus even more on the self and on what she wants to express.
