AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Lovely small globe made around 1910 by Joseph Forest's publisher in the workshop on Rue de Buci in Paris. Joseph Forest founded his publishing house in 1886 and specialized in maps, plans, and globes. The publishing house was based at 17-19 Rue de Buci in Paris and later at Place du 13 Octobre 1 in Bagneux. From 1889 it supplied materials to schools and was recognized by the Ministry of Public Instruction. Forest's small globes are quite rare. This globe has a diameter of 16 cm. Structurally, the globe and the stand are in good condition. In several spots a small piece of the map sheet is missing and the globe shows the usual signs of wear. Please examine the photos carefully; they are an integral part of the description.
