Ubi Sunt is part of The Other Dimension collection, a reflection on states of consciousness and the inner processes of the human mind. In this work, the body and the object abandon their everyday function to become symbols of impermanence and absence. A fading piano and a hand holding the warmth of a fruit act as metaphors for consciousness confronting the passage of time. The work gives visual form to the intangible, using a palette of greys and a fragmented composition to evoke a psychic space in which material reality loses its weight.
Natalia Revelles López (b. 1983, Córdoba, Spain) is a painter whose work explores identity, memory, and the relationship between the human mind and nature.
She studied Fine Arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts Alonso Cano in Granada, graduating in 2006. Her practice combines portraiture with natural and symbolic elements, using expressive brushwork and layered techniques.
In recent years, her work has evolved toward a more introspective and symbolic language, incorporating mixed media, texture, and vibrant colour to create emotionally charged compositions.
