Elegant set difficult to find complete, consisting of a bedside (or desk) bottle with its matching saucer: an authentic jewel dating from the Biedermeier period (1815-1845), of Austro-Bohemian manufacture. This set combines the craftsmanship of crystal work with the preciousness of silver details, representing a perfect example of the refined taste of the Mitteleuropean high bourgeoisie of the 19th century.
Artistic Details and Making
• The Crystal: Both the bottle and the saucer are made of precious transparent crystal with amber-colored cuts and sections. The surface is adorned with a very rich engraved and wheel-cut decoration, characterized by elaborate and delicate vegetal motifs, tendrils and scrolls, creating a magnificent play of light and transparency.
• The Silver Details:
o The Bottle: Features a silver finely repoussé collar on the neck along the rim and a massive stopper, both bearing the 800 silver hallmarks and the silversmith’s monogram with the letters "F.C.".
o The Saucer: Features a beautiful amber-colored crystal with a transparent center. The rim is elegantly covered by a chased silver band with a refined continuous classical motif in relief, also regularly marked ‘800’.

Condition
The set is in excellent conservation condition, considering that it is a historical object of about 180 years. These are minor details that do not in any way compromise the aesthetics, value, or solidity of this splendid work.
