This remarkable piece beautifully reflects the refinement and craftsmanship of early Baccarat, dating to the second half of the 19th century. The body displays an elegantly chiseled floral motif. The carafe creates a striking play of light and brilliance characteristic of finely hand-cut crystal, and the clarity of the crystal demonstrates the exceptional quality of execution typical of Baccarat’s early workshop.
Condition: very good antique condition with light signs of age consistent with more than 100 years of history; the lid is not original. An exceptionally well-preserved example for a piece of this period.
