16mo, measuring 140 x 98 mm, pages vi, 200, well illustrated with engravings within the text and several that are full page, used internally though still firm and tight, some thumbing and soiling, but overall quite good considering it has been used for 180 years, a school price label on the front endpaper dated 1861, (from a St Mark's School, Islington), original brown cloth rubbed marked and bubbled.

We have been specialist booksellers for nearly forty-seven years. My original training was in horticulture, and I have the Diploma from the Royal Botanic Garden, Kew, and I am a Fellow of the Linnean Society. We have been fortunate in acquiring many major collections from prominent botanists and naturalists over the years, and our website stock reflects this and contains many unusual and esoteric items.
