Splendid manual-wind vintage chronograph of Swiss production (La Chaux-de-Fonds) from the 1950s. This Walker "Extra" embodies the golden era of sporty yet elegant chronographs, with an imposing 18-carat yellow gold case that gives the wrist a strong and refined presence.
Case: Solid 18kt gold (750), hallmarked on the case back. Generous diameter typical of chronographs of the era.
Dial: Original with a splendid finish and dual scale (tachymeter and telemeter). Arrow hands and applied Arabic numerals. Chronograph subdials at 3 and 9 o'clock.
Movement: Mechanical manual-wind, anti-magnetic.
Details: Snap-on case back with original Walker brand engravings. Original leaf hands.
Total weight: 46 grams (a substantial weight indicating the solidity of the gold case).
