Description from the seller
This original work was made with a second-hand teddy bear, rescued from flea markets or from the trash and thus immortalized. The work is sold worldwide to art collectors and galleries, and the bear also regularly appears on the street in various forms. (See photos).
The original teddy bear was dipped in sepia brown acrylic ink. Afterwards, it was printed in its entirety on museum paper.
Technique: sepia brown acrylic / acid-free 340 g/m² museum paper

Michiel Folkers, better known as Gieler (1982), began in the late nineties as a graffiti artist in Amsterdam. He now works in his studio, but the rawness of the street remains visible in his art. His work travels the world and can be seen in galleries from Zürich to New York. Especially in the United States his work has been incredibly popular in recent years and he hangs on the walls of several celebrities.
