Johan Barthold Jongkind, born in Lattrop (Overijssel, United Kingdom of the Netherlands) on June 3, 1819, and died in Saint-Égrève (Isère) on February 9, 1891, is a Dutch painter, watercolorist, and engraver, considered one of the forerunners of Impressionism.
