Description from the seller
From “Intrusions” where elements of contemporary society appear and disturb paintings from a different era.
"Art is not about representing new things, but about representing them with novelty."
Slasky is an established Italian artist whose works have been exhibited in solo and group shows internationally.
The artist has the ability to fuse classical artworks with techniques of contemporary digital art. With his neo-urban classical style, he blends tradition and modernity, bringing the protagonists of the original artworks into contemporary social and artistic environments.
"The NeoUrbanClassic Collection is a series of pieces in which I fused classical artworks with contemporary digital art techniques, in order to transport art that I believe is incredibly important in our present time. By placing the protagonists of the original artworks in contemporary social and artistic environments, I created a series of pieces that send new messages."
