πJS aka Stephen Joannon (Artist, Gallery owner, Exhibition curator, Music critic…)
A versatile sculptor and form-bearer, presents ROBBIT: a series of highly colorful sculptures, a mischievous homage to the worlds of Barry Flanagan, Jeff Koons and Kaws, lulled by the electronic motifs of Herbie Hancock — particularly Rockit (1983), from which its name derives. Created in Tourrettes-sur-Loup in collaboration with an exceptional craftsman, the collection comprises four silhouettes, each subsequently hand-painted in strictly unique variations.
Poem of metal and matter, ROBBIT fuses pop audacity and playful softness: a sculptural presence that impresses with its chromatic optimism and visual melody. These pieces, designed to be encountered by viewers and to complete contemporary collections, are produced in limited editions — an invitation to seize the work before it disappears.
