Description from the seller

Original hand-blown studio glass ensemble by German glass artist Roland Wohlgemuth, consisting of three individually made pieces.

The set is dated 1978–1979 and belongs stylistically to the European Studio Glass movement of the late 20th century. During this period, many glass artists moved away from industrial production and focused on individually blown, sculptural objects with experimental colour compositions and free-form shapes.

The ensemble is made in cobalt blue, green and amber-yellow glass. The pieces share the same color palette, technical execution and design language, indicating that they were created as a coherent group.

Each piece is signed and dated by the artist and bears the characteristic studio mark incorporated into the glass.

The glass shows strong color depth, high transparency and typical handmade characteristics such as slight variations in form, small bubbles and natural irregularities from the blowing process.
