Handsome and attractive colourful copy of Culpeper's popular and comprehensive herbal remedies. The book is illustrated with frontispiece and 12 botanical colour plates, each depicting multiple flowers and herbs. Published by Milner and Company, 1900s. Publishers’ original dark green cloth with blind decoration and bright gilt titles on upper board, and the spine.
Book Dimensions: 19 x 13 cm and Number of Pages: 430
Condition
Firm and well-pound copy. External covers are clean and in nice shape, and with minor wear to corners, and slight fading to the spine. Internally; the book is in very good condition indeed. No names or inscriptions. Inner hinges are very good, and pages are tightly held at the gutter. Pages are very clean, and unmarked. The plates in nice condition (Excellent Copy) (Please see pictures).
