Artur Sudak presents an original oil on canvas titled Outrunning Time, a 100 × 70 cm Neo-Impressionist work (2026) with a hand-signed signature, varnished, painted on the edges, including a certificate of authenticity, created in Poland and depicting a daytime scene.
Description from the seller
"Outpace Time" is a large-format, deeply moving oil painting by Artur Sudak, a fascinating study of transience, the inevitability of fate, and the fragility of human existence. The work clearly echoes the finest traditions of European dystopian surrealism, building a dark, tense, and melancholic world on the edge of a nightmare dream.
The central point of the composition is a gigantic, organic-architectural tower, reminiscent of a mighty, dried tree or a centuries-old forgotten construction. Its summit is crowned by a monumental, cracked clock with Roman numerals, from which wither and hang threadlike, decaying structures. Below the dial, deep in the trunk, the artist placed a hypnotic element resembling a luminous, cyclopean eye or swirling energy, endowing the tower with the qualities of a living, monstrous being. At the foot of this imposing structure, on burnt, reddish earth, solitary, miniature human silhouettes wander. It is a dramatic metaphor for a person lost in the infinity of time, trying to escape or to “outpace” what is inevitable.
