About the artist:
SUSU, Susana Soto, is a creator of visual and plastic arts. Born in Barcelona in 1972. Holder of a degree in Fine Arts from Universitat de Barcelona in 1994. Participated in Vitra’s Summer Workshop at Boisbuche, France, in cooperation with the Vitra Design Museum and the Centre Georges Pompidou.
She has worked for more than 15 years as a graphic designer, art director, and as a teacher in art schools.
It was in 2015 when she embarked on the path of illustration. Since then she has worked as an illustrator for publishers and the advertising sector. And in 2022 she began her artistic journey in Barcelona, in a shared studio with other artists. She works with abstract painting and portraits of women.
Throughout her career she has received several awards and mentions, both in graphic design and illustration. And she has participated in group art exhibitions in Barcelona.
