Natalie Ulmann, Echo Blanc, a 100×100 cm mixed-media on canvas (rolled 112×112 cm), original edition, created in 2026, hand-signed, in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
"Echo Blanc" is a unique work that unfolds a captivating visual presence through rhythmic circular movements, deep color intensity, and a strongly structured surface. The white paint was applied to the raw canvas in intuitive, circular motions – a powerful gesture that feels both controlled and meditative.
Characteristic is the glossy, tactile texture: the color rises in relief from the canvas and reflects light in shifting nuances. Fine drops traverse the image like small pearl threads – they appear delicate yet precisely placed, as if frozen at the moment of impact. In their form, they resemble fine tip-like structures that lend the artwork a nearly textile lightness.
The occasionally formed cracks are not a defect but part of the creation process – they belong to the work and shape its individual structure and expression.
Echo Blanc draws the viewer into a circling movement of energy and quiet. The glossy paint and the pearl-like drops, with new connections and forms, give the work a deep liveliness – it changes with the angle of light and perspective. A modern statement for spaces with character, clarity, and depth.
