The sculpture is made of bioplastic using 3D technology; bioplastic is a vegetable-origin material such as sugarcane, thus of totally natural origin and without environmental impact. The work is entirely handmade to achieve a glossy, smooth final effect, a meticulous, fully manual job of polishing, filling, and varnishing that ultimately yields a perfect work despite being based on simple materials; the cone is also made of bioplastic mixed with real wood.
The ice cream base is lacquered in yellow acrylic and a transparent protective varnish
