Divina Commedia by Dante Alighieri, illustrated by Gustavo Doré, in a three-volume illustrated edition in Italian, hard cover, 671 pages, 34 × 25 cm, published in 1990 by Eurodiffusione Editoriale SAS, in good condition, sold as a single lot.

Description:
Complete work in three distinct tomes, one for each cantica: Inferno, Purgatorio, Paradiso. The general index of all cantos is placed at the end of the third volume, confirming the editorial unity of the work.
Publisher: Eurodiffusione Editoriale SAS, Milan.
Binding: Hardcover in gray-green imitation leather, with title, name of the cantica, and profile of Dante in silver relief. Geometric decorative frieze on the lateral edge, also in silver. Each volume identical in structure and outer appearance.
Endpapers: Double illustrated endpapers with the famous Doré engraving depicting Dante in the dark forest, reproduced in beige/ivory two-color.
Frontispieces: Two title pages for each volume, with medieval Gothic-style typography.
Text: Arranged in two columns, with the Dantean terza rima in the main typeface and philological commentary in a reduced font at the bottom of the page.
Illustrations: Full-page plates reproduced from the original engravings by Gustavo Doré, with the artist’s and the engraver’s signatures. Each plate bears in the caption the quotation of the corresponding Dantean verse.
Condition: Good. The three volumes are complete, with no obvious damage to the cover or internal pages.
